We have four indoor cats and just got a fifth cat when my father-in-law passed away. He had a torn up old scratching post so I got this for him. He’s in his own room with a pet gate so our two dogs can’t get to him. At first he wouldn’t even get on it, but now gets up on it and especially enjoys the sisal scratching areas. I’m not sure what the long rope is for; kind of pointless.

This was way less than cat trees at Petsmart or Petco. Not quite as sturdy (the plywood is not as thick as more expensive trees), but very good for the money. I may get another one for our other cats to share.

It was very easy to put together, it’s well made, nice looking and easy to clean with a brush or vacuum. Yes, it shakes a little bit, even on hardwood floor, but the cat doesn’t seem to care. We love the sisal and so does the cat (he’s got scratching posts with sisals) although sometimes, when we watch TV and he wants us to pay attention to him, he scratches the back of the condo.

He loves to sleep in the condo and on the 2 top shelves. The tree is next to a window so he can see the neighbors wandering around. He has never touched the ball and the rope. He’s super playful but nope, not interested…

Yes we would by another tree from the company, well actually, I’m already looking for another one!

For this size, quality and price you can’t beat this deal. Sophie’s slowly trying to warm up to it.Shows promise. I do advise any cats bigger than 12 lbs. will be having problems with the top square areas and wont fit inside the box.

This cat tree was super easy to set up and seems very well made The 5 month old kitten I have at first was not so sure about it and I was starting to think I might have wasted my money on a carpeted tower that would sit empty in my living room. A week later I can’t get him out of the thing, he spends at least half of the day sleeping in it or playing on it. Really a great deal and much better looking than any of the cat trees I see at Petco or other pet stores for around $200.

I have had the cat tree only a few days. I am well pleased with the quality and price, and it is nice looking. Assembly is simple and quick. Just follow the series of assembly pictures. Unlike some other reviewers, I found the tree to be quite stable, including the top section. I have an assembly tip that may increase the stability of the tree for some people. I believe that a contributing factor to possible instability is the attachement of the posts. When a post is fully tightened down on its base with the supplied bolts and tool, the fabric covering the base is not fully compressed. That can result in a “soft” gap between the post and the base that may allow some movement of the post over time. I suggest that after tightening each post to its base with the bolt and tool normally, continue to hold the tool firmly in place and have a second person use both hands to turn the post clockwise until the post is truly tightened. It worked for me.
